 Date of Birth Appending Services       

Critical Data provides immediate and cost effective date of birth appending to Any Standard or custom name and address list, (ADULTS ONLY) with Most records yielding Complete Birthday fields, such as Month, Day, and Year unlike many service bureaus.

This service is provided for batches only, and not individual records. Names and Addresses May be submitted in ASCII delimited, Fixed Field, and Dbase formats. Lists media may be Supplied by Diskette, Zip Disk, CD-ROM, DVD, 9 Track Tape, Email, or FTP Connectivity.

Connection with our computer is straightforward and automatic, providing your firm a simple And cost effective service. 

Data Preparation / Hit Ratio

For best matching results, lists should be prepared using Address Standardization. Poorly Formatted or misspelled addresses & missing elements are corrected using this technique.  

This Process Yields the highest possible hit ratio with our Master database. Records must Match our database exactly otherwise no match will result. 

In the event records do not match exactly, we will implement special logic rules in resolving Minor near misses, due to soft errors or syntax conventions within the data record. Critical Data Can provide Address standardization at minimal or no cost to qualified clients.

 Merge/Purge/ Duplication Elimination

Merge Purge is the process of marking duplicate records for removal from a list or lists. A Single List May have duplicates in it or two lists with no duplicates in themselves may be Merged together and then Purged of duplicates between the two lists. This process is also known As de-duping.

 Name or Address Field Parsing

Do you need to sort your file in numeric street order, but the street number and name occupy the same field? Do you need to spilt and separate the “Name field” into individual First, mid and last name field elements? Address Correction/Address Hygiene

Address Hygiene services, also known as address standardization, address correction and database hygiene, format mailing addresses in strict accordance to USPS standards as well as add new fields to your database lists to facilitate address sorting.

This process will correct any street names in your databases that are misspelled or incorrect postal zip codes have changed.  Both of these errors are factors that may cause the delivery of the mail to be delayed or, at worst, returned. Even if you don't have a specific mailing to be sent, it would be beneficial to simply have your current address database(s) updated to ensure file integrity
